Family Activities

Most Favourite Family Activities that Encourage Togetherness, Bonding and Family Interaction

Outdoor Winter Activities

Quality Of Life Omnimedia's Wellness for Mind, Body & Soul Magazine You don't need to have a lot of money to do the sports that kids love. Toboganning, sledding, skating at the local arena are usually free if you already have the equipment.

If cost is not an issue, skiing at one of our many ski resorts is awesome.

Indoor Winter Activities

Take a VIA Rail train ride to Ottawa or any of the other great cities in our great country. Ottawa is on the top of my list because the wealth of knowledge that non-resident students receive from their tour helps them in their Ontario grade 7 and 8 programs of study.
While in any of our capital cities, you will visit museums, art galleries, Science Centres and other buildings designed to help children visualize what they are learning in school. This breadth and depth of knowledge acquisition will help them excel in their studies.

See a Hockey Game

Watching sports matches being played helps children visualize how they should behave. It teaches them that physical activity is great fun. Hopefully, it will encourage to take it on throughout their lives.

Take your Family To see Andrew Lloyd Webber's New Production; The Wizard Of Oz in Toronto, Ontario

Your mind and body will benefit from the experience. Evidence suggests that children who enjoy live shows enjoy a greater level of success in school. They begin to understand the organization that goes into making a live performance. They develop in the areas of language arts, mathematics, music and art, to mention a few skill development areas. They learn how to behave like winners when they are expected to sit, walk and talk with manners and etiquette. They will thank you over and over again.

Enjoy life and learning at every age and stage in life!
